Safe Work At Height Training

This program will teach you how to work safely at heights and keep check of all security precautions. You will learn how to identify the requirements of the job, access and install the required equipment, clean up the work area and conduct a risk assessment of your job.

- Legislative and workplace procedures
- Conduct and document a risk assessment
- Hazards associated with working at height
- Select, inspect and work within the limitations of portable ladders and platforms
- Selection and use of fall injury prevention systems
- Safe working requirements for working with a scaffold, edge protection and elevating work platforms
- Rescue Planning
- Anchors and attachment devices

On-Site Delivery Requirements:

Participants must wear site approved workwear and PPE. For delivery at a client site, the following must be provided to meet the outcomes of the course:

- Suitable classroom area
- A harness for each participant
- A serviceable straight or extending ladder
- A sound structurepermittinga number of work at height scenarios, including a platform and a variety of anchor points
