PADI Scuba Diver

Divers Down was founded from a deep love for the underwater realm. Established in 2001 along the East Coast of the UAE, this centre quickly became renowned for its enjoyable and welcoming atmosphere, as well as the professionalism of its staff and instructors.

Divers Down relocated to larger premises at the Miramar Al Aqah Beach Resort in 2004. This move enabled an expansion of the services and courses offered and, most importantly, access to more picturesque dive sites along the Indian Ocean coastline.

Currently, the dedicated team that makes up the staff of Divers Down takes pride in being the only PADI 5-Star Career Development Centre in the Middle East – a distinguished rating reserved for dive centres committed to excellence and meeting the highest standards for training PADI professionals.

The staff are not only dedicated to excellence in training but are committed to raising awareness about critical environmental issues in the process – having earned the prestigious Green Fins rating. Divers Down is deeply committed to environmental conservation and marine protection. Supporting several Project AWARE initiatives including adopting several dive sites and regularly invite divers to participate in numerous underwater clean-up campaigns to make a positive impact and mitigate the adverse effects of human activity on the underwater world.

Operating from Al Aqah, we operate four boats that transport divers to breathtaking locations along the Fujairah coastline, 365 days a year. This capacity ensures that guests with varying levels of experience can maximize their diving experience.

Furthermore, Divers Down maintains a 5-Star Instructor Development Centre in Al Quoz, Dubai, complete with a custom pool, two PADI Course Directors ensuring top-notch training, in-house instructors, and divemasters ensuring safety and the smooth operation of this esteemed centre.

Divers Down offers a comprehensive array of PADI courses, ranging from introductory programs like Bubble Maker and Discover Scuba Diver to Open Water courses, technical diving, and instructor training to shape the next generation of PADI professionals.

Working with the next generation in the highly successful school program has introduced numerous young people to scuba diving. Raising awareness about critical environmental issues in the process but installing values that the next generation can utilise every day.

Currently we have the bases covered with our dive centers, retail facilities, online shop, pools, boats, gas blending, servicing, and hotel accommodation.
