This course provides insight into recognizing signs of mental ill health in oneself and others, understanding how to support mental well-being in the workplace, and promoting a culture of wellness. While not a clinical qualification, this course prepares participants to offer first response support, guiding individuals in need of assistance and helping foster a supportive work environment.
What You Will Learn
Roles and Responsibilities of a Mental Health First Aider
Understand the role of a mental health first aider, including boundaries, ethical considerations, and the importance of confidentiality and compassion in providing initial support.
Recognizing Mental Health Challenges
Identify signs of common mental health conditions and distress signals, allowing for early response and support to individuals facing challenges such as stress, anxiety, or depression.
Supporting a Wellness Culture
Gain practical knowledge to support a positive mental health culture in the workplace, focusing on open communication, inclusivity, and proactive wellness initiatives.
Building Resilience and Self-Care Practices

Course Duration
