This is Level 2 Certificate in an Introduction to Early Years Education and Care that will give you required skills and knowledge to work with children between birth and 5 years, and also give you knowledge of children up to 7 years.
Overview:
It is suitable for people who wish to work as a teaching assistant in early years setting. There is no entry requirement for this qualification however students are required to complete 250-hour placement within in an early years setting over the duration of the course, either as a volunteer or as an employee.
This will qualify you as a Teaching Assistant in a nursery or Early Years classroom teaching children from age 0 to 5. Pre-lude to Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Educator.
