Course Objectives:

• Understand the different heat related illness

• Understand the risk factors for heat illness

• Recognize the different heat illness symptoms

• Identify different preventive measures of heat illness

• Know how to protect workers and what are the things to do when people become ill from heat

Course Description:

Employees who are exposed to extreme heat or working in a high-temperature environment are at risk of developing heat related illness. Heat related illnesses may range from exhaustion to possible death  and many factors affect individuals susceptibility to heat.This course aims to raise awareness on the different effects of heat in human body.

This course helps the learner identify who are in great risk in developing heat related illness This course will help learners to identify early detection of signs and symptoms  for heat related illnesses and how are they going to response in times of emergency.
