In this class, you will learn about culinary arts and fundamental techniques from our qualified chef instructors. This is a combined class with the following sessions:
Session 1- Knife Skills
- Learning about skillful use of knives in cutting, salads and emulsions
Session 2- Thickeners, Soups and Stocks
- Learning about soup making
- Mastering vegetable, fish, beef and chicken stock
Session 3- Starches
- Preparing different potato and rice staples
Session 4- Pasta
- Learn to make Spaghetti, Lasagne, Sauce and Ravioli.
Session 5- Shellfish and Fish
- Discovering the modern day cooking dishes of the oceans
Session 6- Eggs and Vegetable
- You will understand the difference between scrambled, hard and soft eggs
- You will also be able to differentiate between ratatouille and tian
Session 7- Red Meat
- Learn about different preparation of beef, mutton and lamb.
Session 8- Poultry
- Learning about intricacies between quail, duck and chicken
Session 9- Pastry and Baking
- You will learn a great deal about pastry and dough
Session 10- Desserts
- Learn a good variety about warm, cold, chocolate and fruit dessert.
