Course Details

The Financial Assets Valuation for Oil & Gas course is structured specially for professionals in the oil & gas industry to equip participants with the financial understanding when valuing oil & gas assets.
 
Valuing oil and gas assets is the major skill needed to grow, buy or sell exploration and production companies.
 
The participants will work through two class exercises of a producing asset with and without uncertainties, and an exploration project before drilling, using the EMV approach. This course will guide participants through reserves estimation and subsequent economic valuation of exploration and production projects.
 
Course Objective:
 
This course equips participants with the financial understanding when valuing oil & gas assets by learning reserves estimation and subsequent economic valuation of exploration and production projects.
 
- Gain knowledge of oil and gas resources and reserves
 
- Recognize the importance of different valuation methods
 
- Develop key concepts to quantify measure revenue and profit from petroleum projects
 
- Learn the techniques needed to value upstream assets
 
- Review different projects from exploration to production
 
Course Certificate: 
 
Masters Consultant certificate will be issued to all attendees completing minimum of 75% of the total tuition hours of the course.
