Certified Nursing Assitance Program

A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is a healthcare professional who provides basic patient care under the supervision of a registered or licensed practical nurse. CNAs work in a variety of healthcare settings such as hospitals, long-term care facilities, assisted living facilities, and home healthcare agencies.

Objective :

Learn to function as clinic assistant in Nursing centers, hospitals and Nursing centers. Learn the roles, functions, and limitations described by the law with dependence on effective delegation and work ethics.

Learning Outcomes of CNA Training By the time you finish this course, you will be able to:

• Understand how the structure and function of the human body are essential to provide safe and effective Nursing care.
• Master basic Nursing skills such as taking vital signs, administering medications, and assisting patients with activities of daily living.
• Know how to prevent the spread of infections in healthcare settings. Learn about infection control, hand hygiene, proper cleaning and disinfection procedures. • You will learn how to provide compassionate and patient-centred care.

The duties of a nursing assistant vary depending on the setting, but may include:

• Administering medications (under the supervision of an RN)
