Prerequisites:
• Students who have graduated from Secondary Level education and/or; have a civil or military aviation background.
• Competent in English language.
Fujairah Air Navigation Services (FANS) is an Air Navigation Services provider (ANSP) based in Fujairah. Fujairah Air Navigation Services was established under the directives and support of H.H. Shaikh Saleh Bin Mohammed Al Sharqi Chairman of the Department of Industry and Economy and with the vision and guidance of H.E Mohammed Al Salami chairman of Department of Civil Aviation.
This course gives the introductory knowledge of Air Traffic Controllers by introducing you to the core deliverables and functions to an airport. It discusses the modes of communication in ATC, Air navigation, SID and STAR to an airport etc.
The courses is designed to impart required knowledge and skills to the course participants to enable them to progress to specialized ATC training or prepare them for an OJT at an aerodrome control tower to obtain ATC rating, as applicable by their sponsor.
