The courses is designed to impart required knowledge and skills to the course participants to enable them to progress to specialized ATC training or prepare them for an OJT at an aerodrome control tower to obtain ATC rating, as applicable by their sponsor.

The courses are scheduled over 16 working weeks divided in to:
• ATC assistant/Basic Induction / ICAO course 051
8 weeks theoretical knowledge instruction (240 hours) followed by final course exams
• Aerodrome Control / ICAO course 052
8 weeks syllabus of (150) hours consists of 2 phases of training followed by final theory and simulation training exams as per the following phases
Requirements
1. Must be over 18 Years of age to enroll.
2. A Class 3 GCAA Medical.
3. Applicants must be competent in the use of the English language and must have a sound knowledge of
basic mathematics and physics.
4. Must have achieved Level 4 or above in the English Language Proficiency Test (by the end of course)

The duration of the courses is approximately 16 weeks
