AHA Basic Life Support (BLS 3.5 cme)

This training will give you the skills and ability to treat and respond to different life-threatening emergencies, learn about giving high-quality chest compressions, providing AED usage and delivering appropriate ventilation to the patient. 

This is an instructor-led training where simulated clinical scenarios and learning stations are covered. The training is led by an AHA BLS instructor and includes a written exam as well. 

Learning Outcomes:

• High-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants.
• Use of an AED
• The AHA Chain of Survival, specifically the BLS components
• Effective ventilations using a barrier device
• Performance as an effective team member during multi rescuer CPR
• Importance of teams in multi rescuer resuscitation
• Relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (choking) for adults and infants
