YAFTA launches Online Acting Diploma in Dubai

YAFTA, a renowned and reputable acting academy based in the UK has expanded internationally with the launch of their exclusive Acting for Screen Online Diploma programme in Dubai. 

The one-year programme is an online adaption of their prestigious Acting for Screen Diploma taught in the UK and is specifically aimed at adults who are new to screen acting.

The YAFTA Acting for Screen Diploma: Online Interactive Delivery, is a part-time course that can take you from beginner to professional actor within 12 months. If you’ve never acted before, or only trained in theatre performance, this course is an ideal training opportunity.  

The digital course has been developed to fit around your existing family and work commitments and includes two contact sessions per week. Taught entirely online by qualified, UK based acting tutors and industry professionals, you will be equipped with the acting skills, knowledge and industry insight that you need to make it as a professional screen actor. 

The diploma is taught by tutors who trained at the world’s leading drama schools including RADA, LAMDA, Central School of Speech and Drama, ALRA and LIPA, as well as industry professionals currently working in the acting industry.

The Academy’s first online diploma launched in April this year with a cohort of students from around the globe including the UK, Australia and Jamaica.  Marlena Kelli, (51) who recently started the online diploma course said:

Charlotte adds:

The course is taught in a modular fashion and will involve students completing work outside of the online sessions. Students will qualify for student Equity membership and student member of the Royal Television Society (RTS). 

YAFTA Talent Agency is an award winning, PMA registered agency, which represents professional screen actors and social media influencers. Students who successfully complete the course will have the opportunity to be represented by YAFTA.
